Job Title: Electronics Test Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for an Electronics Test Technician to support the testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electronic components and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing on electronic components and assemblies.

• Troubleshoot and debug electronic components and test fixtures.

• Operate and maintain test equipment, including:

o DC Power Supply

o Oscilloscope

o Digital Multimeter (DMM)

o Electronic Load

o Function Generator

• Perform preventive maintenance and calibration checks on test equipment.

• Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) control procedures and ANSI/ESD S20.20 requirements.

• Follow Quality Management System (QMS), work instructions, and test procedures.

• Record test results accurately and prepare test reports.

• Analyze failures and support root cause investigations.

• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.

• Support engineering in developing and improving test methods.

Requirements

• Diploma, ITE, or equivalent qualification in Electronics Engineering or related field.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in electronics testing or troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of ESD control and quality systems.

• Good understanding of electronic components and basic electronic circuits.

• Experience using oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, and other electronic test equipment.

• Able to troubleshoot and debug electronic boards and components.

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).

• Able to read electronic schematics and datasheets.

• Good communication skills and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with semiconductor or electronics testing.

• Knowledge of IPC standards and ISO 17025 quality systems.

• Experience maintaining laboratory test equipment.

• Familiarity with soldering and component replacement techniques.
