Role Description This full-time Assistant Sales Manager (Factory Robot Automation) role is an on-site position based in Selangor, Malaysia. The Assistant Sales Manager supports the sales team in promoting and selling factory robot automation solutions to industrial clients. Daily responsibilities include identifying prospective customers, preparing proposals and quotations, conducting product presentations and demonstrations, and following up on leads to close sales opportunities. The role involves collaborating with engineering and project teams to ensure proposed solutions meet customer requirements, assisting in contract negotiations, and maintaining accurate sales records and reports. The Assistant Sales Manager also monitors market trends, gathers customer feedback, and contributes to sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in industrial automation, robotics, or manufacturing solutions.
• Strong ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into clear value propositions for customers.
• Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to engage with stakeholders at different levels.
• Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in a relevant industry.
• Comfort working in an on-site industrial environment and willingness to travel to customer locations as required.
• Proficiency with standard office and CRM software to prepare proposals, track sales activities, and generate reports.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a diverse, cross-functional team.
