Role Description

This is a part-time, remote Freelance Video Editor role. The Video Editor will assemble and refine video content for digital campaigns, social media, and branded storytelling, ensuring alignment with creative direction and marketing objectives. Daily tasks include cutting and sequencing footage, applying transitions and effects, syncing audio, and performing basic sound cleanup. The role will involve color grading, integrating motion graphics and overlays, and adapting content into multiple formats and aspect ratios for various platforms. The Video Editor will collaborate with creative strategists and designers, follow brand guidelines, meet deadlines, and manage feedback and revisions efficiently.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including organizing footage, creating engaging narratives, and preparing final deliverables.
• Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency, mood, and brand alignment across all video assets.
• Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to design and integrate titles, lower thirds, animated elements, and visual overlays.
• Proficiency with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects) is beneficial.
• Ability to interpret creative briefs, follow brand guidelines, and collaborate effectively with remote, cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines as a freelancer.
• Experience producing content for digital marketing, social media platforms, or performance-driven campaigns is an advantage.
