The Opportunity:

Adecco is partnering with an established global advanced manufacturing company to recruit a Regional Commodity Manager based in Singapore. This role will lead strategic sourcing, long-term supplier negotiations and commodity management across Asia.

* Work location: East
* Work hours: Mon-Fri, 7.30am - 4.48pm

The Job:

* Develop and execute regional and global commodity strategies covering direct and indirect procurement across multiple manufacturing sites.
* Lead Long-Term Agreement negotiations, strategic supplier partnerships and commercial contract implementation.
* Drive cost reduction initiatives, supplier benchmarking and sourcing optimisation to improve overall procurement performance.
* Manage metal-related commodities, MRO tooling contracts, CapEx procurement and indirect services, including facilities, equipment and repairs.
* Oversee supplier selection, qualification, development and transitions, ensuring supplier quality, performance and supply continuity.
* Monitor supplier KPIs, inventory performance and supply chain risks, collaborating with Engineering, Operations and global stakeholders on continuous improvement.

The Talent:

* Bachelor's degree or minimum 10 years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, procurement or commodity management within manufacturing environments.
* Proven experience in negotiating long-term supplier agreements (LTAs), managing strategic suppliers and driving sustainable cost reductions.
* Strong knowledge of metal casting, forging, precision machining, engineered components or related industrial manufacturing commodities.
* Demonstrated experience in regional/global procurement, supplier development, contract management and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
* Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems, with knowledge of international trade compliance, including ITAR. Lean/Six Sigma experience is advantageous. Willingness to travel 15-25% as required.
