Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced OT Security SME to lead and support cybersecurity
initiatives across Operational Technology (OT) environments. The ideal candidate will have
strong expertise in securing industrial control systems, including SCADA, DCS, PLCs, and
industrial networks, along with experience in OT security architecture, risk assessments,
incident response, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain OT cybersecurity strategies, policies, and security
architectures.
Conduct OT security risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and gap analyses
across industrial environments.
Secure Industrial Control Systems (ICS), SCADA, DCS, PLCs, HMIs, and industrial
networks.
Develop and implement network segmentation, firewalls, secure remote access, and
OT network monitoring solutions.
Apply OT security frameworks and standards, including IEC 62443, SEMI E187/188,
NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and NIST SP 800-82.
Identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks associated with IT/OT convergence.
Lead OT security incident response, threat analysis, and recovery planning.
Collaborate with IT, engineering, infrastructure, and plant operations teams to
implement security controls without disrupting critical operations.
Support OT security audits, compliance assessments, documentation, and
remediation planning.
Evaluate OT security tools, technologies, and solutions, and provide technical
guidance to stakeholders.
Develop security procedures, best practices, and awareness programs for OT
environments.
Must-Have Skills
5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with substantial hands-on experience in
OT/ICS security.
Strong knowledge of SCADA, DCS, PLCs, HMIs, and industrial communication
protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, OPC UA, and PROFINET.
Experience with OT network architecture, segmentation, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and
secure remote access.
Knowledge of IEC 62443, SEMI E187/188, NIST SP 800-82, and industrial
cybersecurity risk management.
Experience in OT vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response.
Understanding of IT/OT integration, industrial network security, and critical
infrastructure protection.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder management
skills.
Good-to-Have Skills
Experience with OT security solutions such as Claroty, Nozomi Networks, Dragos, or
Tenable OT.
Relevant certifications such as GICSP, GRID, CISSP, or IEC 62443 certifications.
Experience in industries such as manufacturing, oil and gas, energy, utilities,
pharmaceuticals, or other critical infrastructure sectors.
Knowledge of industrial asset discovery, threat modelling, security architecture
reviews, and disaster recovery planning.
Experience leading OT security assessments, consulting engagements, or
large-scale security transformation projects.
