Role Description The Senior Java Developer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Malaysia. In this role, the individual designs, develops, and maintains Java-based applications and services, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability. Responsibilities include translating business requirements into technical solutions, implementing clean and efficient code, and performing code reviews for quality and best practices. The Senior Java Developer collaborates closely with architects, business analysts, testers, and other developers to deliver end-to-end solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize existing systems. The role also involves contributing to technical design discussions, mentoring less experienced team members, and staying current with modern Java frameworks, tools, and industry standards.
Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in core Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate) and experience building enterprise-grade applications.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architectures, and integration with external systems or third-party services.
• Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL, including performance tuning and query optimization.
• Knowledge of modern development practices such as CI/CD, version control (e.g., Git), automated testing, and build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle).
• Experience working in agile or iterative development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to analyze complex technical problems, propose solutions, and provide guidance to junior developers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in sectors such as BFSI, telecom, manufacturing, oil & gas, or FMCG is an advantage.
• Exposure to digital platforms similar to Neutrinos, and familiarity with
