Role Description

The Business Development Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Johor Baharu. This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, generating qualified leads, and building a strong sales pipeline. The Business Development Executive will manage and grow key accounts, prepare proposals and quotations, and conduct presentations or meetings with prospective and existing clients. Daily responsibilities include maintaining customer relationships, monitoring market trends and competitor activities, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction. The role also requires regular reporting on sales activities and performance, and participation in business events or industry networking as needed.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation to build and expand the customer base.
• Candidates should possess solid Business and Account Management skills to manage opportunities, contracts, and long-term client relationships.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to engage clients, present solutions, and collaborate with internal teams.
• Relevant experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles within engineering, electronics, or industrial sectors is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently, meet targets, and manage time and priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in basic office and CRM software, with strong analytical and reporting abilities.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Fluency in English and local languages, and a valid authorization to work in Malaysia.
