Responsibilities

1. Business support:

Draft, review and negotiate with clients and suppliers for deal documents;

International site legal support: 1) review and improve online agreements, including customer agreement, privacy statement, site terms; 2) ensure legal compliance of product/service launch and operation;

Legal opinion upon business request;

Dispute management and lesson learnt for business management improvement.

2. Legal Insights:

Track the latest legislation related to cloud business in Singapore and the best industry practice;

Identify the risks in business and provide guidance for business to develop mitigation;

Render training to business department to boost the legal awareness.

3. Manage the local legal resource and represent company in front of the local authorities, including data request and supervision scenarios.

4. Corporation governance:

Assist in developing and implementation of internal resolutions, guidance and policies;

Mange the seal and responsible for the corporate documents.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB / JD) or an equivalent professional legal qualification.

A certified lawyer of Singapore.

A strong understanding of cloud business and relevant laws, especially platform, privacy, cyber security, e-commerce.

Minimum 3 years relevant working experience. Experience gained from cloud service provider or e-commerce companies is a big plus.

Ability to learn and think independently and output high-quality work results.

Excellent communication skills and strong outcome-oriented motivation.

Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player. We are looking for a self-starter with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
