Position Details:

• Position: Area Manager, West Malaysia
• Base: Klang Valley / East Coast
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Additional Allowance: Handphone Allowance & Travelling Allowance

Requirements

• Professional Certificate/Diploma in Food & Beverage, Hospitality, Hotel Management or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in F&B industry with a min. of 3 years spent in supervisory capacity in charge of the entire restaurant.
• Possess Food Hygiene Certification.
• Travelling to visit assigned outlets is a must.
• May require working on weekends and/or Public Holidays.
• Knowledge of using Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to write, read and speak English/national language.
• Possess hands-on experience working with Point-Of-Sales (POS) system.
• Proficient in entire business process of operating and managing restaurants.
• Connected to the industry trends and understanding of the competitive landscape, operations and business strategy related to the industry is a requirement.
• Understand restaurant P&L and how it impacts top line (revenue) growth and bottom line target (profitability).
• Possess leadership qualities to lead, communicate and motivate team towards meeting/ exceeding expected goals and objectives.

Responsibility

1.Financial Perspective

• Analyse trading areas and recommend investments or reinvestments to improve business results.
• Identify sales opportunities and set realistic monthly sales and expense targets.
• Manage budgets, P&L projections, cost controls and overall financial performance.
• Lead product launches and marketing campaigns to maximise sales.

2.Customer Perspective

• Analyse customer feedback and recommend improvements.
• Implement complaint recovery and customer engagement plans.
• Follow up with customers to rebuild confidence and loyalty.

3.Operations Perspective

• Ensure smooth outlet operations, consistent brand image and profitability.
• Conduct outlet visits and remote checks to ensure operational, halal and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor maintenance, quality, inventory and cash management.
• Guide Restaurant Managers/OICs in resolving issues and implementing improvements.

4.People Perspective

• Coach and develop outlet management teams to achieve performance and productivity targets.
• Build team engagement and commitment to business goals.
• Conduct briefings and training on products, campaigns, policies and procedures.
• Identify training needs and coordinate relevant development programmes.
• Monitor training, employee engagement and retention initiatives.
• Oversee performance reviews and address performance gaps.

5.Others

• Perform additional duties assigned by reporting superiors or the C-Suite.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
