Our client is Transportation Industry. They are looking for a Sourcing Specialist to assist their team for the next phase of their business. They are located in the West with company transportation provided

Company Transport Provided: Bukit Batok | Commonwealth | Buona Vista | Clementi | Bukit Panjang | Jurong West | Boon Lay | Woodlands | Yishun | Choa Chu Kang

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for assigned product categories in alignment with local, regional, and global procurement objectives.
• Manage both direct and indirect procurement categories, including raw materials, components, equipment, and other business-related purchases.
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance to ensure consistent supply, product quality, cost competitiveness, and timely delivery.
• Conduct supplier audits, performance reviews, and assessments to ensure compliance with company standards and procurement policies.
• Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing, volume discounts, payment terms, and other commercial conditions.
• Conduct spend analysis, cost analysis, and costing reviews to identify opportunities for cost optimisation.
• Develop and implement annual cost reduction targets and initiatives for the procurement function.
• Negotiate competitive pricing for raw materials, components, and other procurement categories to improve overall cost efficiency.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related discipline.
• 5 years of relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, purchasing, or supplier management in valves, compressors, mechanical parts or components
• Experience in managing direct and indirect procurement categories, supplier negotiations, spend analysis, and cost reduction initiatives.
