Job Summary

As an Interior Designer, you will support the design process by developing concepts, sourcing materials, coordinating site activities, collaborating with clients and senior designers, and preparing design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative design concepts and translate client ideas into detailed sketches and plans to visualize project outcomes
• Research and select furniture, fixtures, materials, and finishes that meet design aesthetics, budget, and project requirements
• Conduct site visits to verify adherence to design specifications and resolve on-site challenges promptly
• Collaborate with senior designers to understand client needs and contribute to delivering exceptional design solutions
• Prepare design presentations, mood boards, and technical drawings to support project communication and approvals
• Manage multiple design tasks efficiently with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Communicate design ideas clearly both verbally and visually to internal teams and clients
• Demonstrate a proactive attitude by continuously learning and contributing as an engaged team player

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Candidate from a reputable design program, ideally LASALLE College of the Arts, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Temasek Polytechnic, or Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA)
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and SketchUp design software
• Strong portfolio showcasing creativity, design sensibility, and technical skills
