We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to support the development and enhancement of a strategic analytics platform for public transport operations.

You will be involved in building and maintaining enterprise-grade web applications, backend services, and system integrations that enable data-driven decision-making and operational improvements. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the delivery of scalable, secure, and reliable solutions, including new capabilities supporting predictive maintenance and AI-enabled insights.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications and backend services.
• Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Develop backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices using Node.js, Python, or Java Spring Boot.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and implement reusable, maintainable software components.
• Integrate applications with internal and external systems, databases, and APIs.
• Apply frontend development best practices, including responsive design, accessibility, performance optimisation, and state management.
• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS using containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement secure coding practices, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and production support.
• Collaborate with product teams, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to Agile development activities, technical documentation, and knowledge sharing.

• 4–7 years of experience in full stack software development, preferably building enterprise-grade applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience with at least one modern frontend framework, such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong backend development experience using Node.js, Python, or Java Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and system integrations.
• Familiarity with frontend architectures, reusable components, state management, and performance optimisation.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Good understanding of secure coding principles, application security, and software testing practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional Agile teams.

• Experience developing analytics platforms, dashboards, or data-intensive applications.
• Exposure to AI-enabled applications, predictive analytics, or data processing workflows.
• Experience working on large-scale enterprise systems or public sector projects.
• Familiarity with cloud-native architecture, application monitoring, and observability tools.
