Job Summary

The Machinist (Stamping) is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining stamping machines to produce metal components according to specifications. This role ensures product quality, machine efficiency, and adherence to safety standards in the production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate stamping machines based on production requirements and technical drawings
• Adjust machine settings (pressure, speed, alignment) to ensure accurate output
• Perform routine checks to ensure product quality meets specifications
• Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (vernier caliper, micrometer, gauge)
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major faults to supervisor
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of machines
• Ensure production targets and deadlines are met
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Record production data and report any defects or abnormalities

Requirements

• Minimum SPM / Technical Certificate in machining, manufacturing, or related field
• At least 1–2 years of experience in stamping or metal fabrication (preferred)
• Knowledge of stamping machines and tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Basic knowledge of measuring instruments
• Physically fit and able to work in a manufacturing environment
• Willing to work shifts and overtime if required

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
