About the Roles
Join as a Project Manager overseeing building construction projects across islandwide locations. This is a permanent position working 5.5 days per week, from Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, and Saturday, 8am to 1pm. The remuneration package includes basic salary, AWS and VB.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Plan and manage projects together with the Quantity Surveyor, Site Engineers, and Supervisors, covering budgets, resources, schedules, and completion targets.
- Oversee project implementation to ensure work is completed within the approved scope, budget, quality standards, and timeline.
- Coordinate project requirements, planning, and daily site activities with relevant stakeholders.
- Plan construction activities and schedules to meet key project deadlines.
- Manage manpower, equipment, and materials throughout each project while maintaining budget requirements.
- Arrange required equipment and materials and monitor stock levels to avoid shortages and project delays.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with external vendors and suppliers.
- Secure the necessary permits and licenses from relevant authorities and ensure compliance with applicable requirements, including MOM, NEA, and HDB requirements.
- Lead Site Coordinators, safety personnel, Supervisors, and site workers in daily site activities and project progress.
- Supervise the project team, provide guidance, and address site issues or conflicts when required.
- Manage Site Coordinators on required submissions and coordinate work progress with consultants and relevant authorities.
- Monitor project progress and prepare timely updates and reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and report safety issues when identified.
- Prepare method statements, project programmes, and other required site documentation and submissions.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, Building, or a related field.
- Relevant experience managing building construction projects.
- Experience in project planning, site coordination, budgeting, resource management, and project execution.
- Familiarity with construction regulations, authority requirements, and site safety procedures.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, suppliers, authorities, and project teams.
- Ability to prepare method statements, project schedules, progress reports, and related site documentation.
- Good leadership, planning, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
