Job Responsibilities

• Manage and conduct civil litigation files from commencement to conclusion
• Attend court for mentions, case managements, mediations, hearings and other proceedings
• Independently draft pleadings, affidavits, written submissions, correspondence and other legal documents
• Provide legal advice and updates to clients on ongoing matters
• Liaise with clients, court officers, opposing solicitors and other relevant parties
• Ensure all files, documentation and court deadlines are properly managed
• Handle debt recovery matters where required
• Work independently while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and professionalism

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Civil Litigation
• Experience in Debt Recovery is an added advantage
• Able to manage and conduct files with minimal supervision
• Confident in attending court and handling court-related proceedings
• Strong legal drafting and analytical skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Responsible, committed, proactive and able to work independently
• Good command of English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
