Role Description This is a part-time, remote Gynecologist / OB-GYN role based in Malaysia, providing virtual care and consultation through TherapyMantra’s secure online platform. The professional in this role will conduct virtual assessments, diagnose and manage gynecologic and obstetric conditions, and provide ongoing care for patients across a range of reproductive health needs. Daily responsibilities include reviewing medical histories, ordering and interpreting investigations where appropriate, delivering evidence-based treatment plans, and offering preventive care and health education. The role also involves collaborating with other healthcare and mental health professionals, maintaining accurate electronic medical records, and adhering to clinical guidelines and local regulatory requirements. The clinician will contribute to a patient-centered, inclusive environment that supports both physical and mental wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Medicine, with comprehensive knowledge of women’s reproductive health and general clinical practice.
• Advanced skills in Gynecology, including diagnosis, management, and follow-up of common gynecologic conditions.
• Experience in Obstetrics, including antenatal, intrapartum (where applicable), and postnatal care and counseling.
• Competence in Surgery and Gynecologic Surgery, including understanding of indications, risks, and postoperative care (hands-on surgical experience preferred where relevant).
• Valid medical degree (MD/MBBS or equivalent) and recognized specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Current full registration and license to practice as an OB-GYN in Malaysia, with clean professional standing.
• Experience providing telemedicine or willingness to adapt to virtual care models and digital health platforms.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to offer empathetic, culturally sensitive, and gender-inclusive care.
• Strong clinical judgment, adherence to evidence-based guidelines, and commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and maintain reliable internet connectivity.
