Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Used Car Salesman to join our team. The role involves promoting and selling used and reconditioned/imported vehicles, managing customer enquiries, following up on leads, and assisting customers throughout the entire vehicle purchasing process.

Candidates with experience in used car, reconditioned car, or automotive sales are preferred.

Requirements

• Experience in selling used or reconditioned/imported cars is preferred.

• Previous experience in automotive sales is an advantage.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Confident, persuasive and customer-oriented.

• Self-motivated, disciplined and responsible.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.

• Willing to work towards sales targets.

• Able to speak Bahasa Malaysia and English. Mandarin speaker is an advantage.

• Handle customer enquiries through phone, WhatsApp, social media and walk-ins.

• Promote and sell used and reconditioned/imported vehicles.

• Follow up with potential customers and convert leads into sales.

• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable vehicles.

• Explain vehicle specifications, pricing, financing options and other related details to customers.

• Assist customers throughout the sales process, including booking, financing and documentation.

• Coordinate with banks, financiers and relevant parties to ensure smooth completion of sales and financing.

• Source for new customers and generate new sales opportunities.

• Build and maintain good relationships with customers.

• Negotiate with customers professionally and handle objections effectively.

• Achieve individual and team sales targets.

• Keep proper records of customer enquiries, follow-ups and sales activities.

• Sales Commission – Commission-based earnings on successful vehicle sales.
