We are looking for a Senior Executive, Legal Services to provide legal support across our healthcare operations. In this role, you will support contract management, legal research, litigation and medico-legal matters while helping the organisation maintain regulatory compliance and effectively manage legal risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and draft contracts, conduct relevant legal research, and provide recommendations on legal matters.
• Monitor and track the status of contracts handled by the Legal Services Department.
• Support medico-legal and litigation matters, including case reviews, drafting, research, patient or family complaints, and related administrative work.
• Liaise with and instruct external counsel on debt recovery and litigation matters.
• Draft clear and accurate internal and external legal correspondence.
• Communicate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders on legal issues and contractual terms.
• Maintain proper tracking, storage and retrieval of legal documents and departmental records.
• Attend relevant meetings and prepare meeting minutes where required.
• Participate in departmental, hospital and quality-improvement initiatives.
• Handle sensitive and confidential company information with the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality.

What We’re Looking For

• Recognised Law Degree with relevant professional legal qualification (e.g. CLP or equivalent), and called to the Malaysian Bar.
• At least 1 year of experience practising in a law firm.
• Good knowledge of contract drafting, contract review and legal research.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work professionally with internal stakeholders, external parties and legal counsel.
