Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement business development strategies to drive revenue growth and expand the company's presence in the medical device and healthcare industry.
• Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and potential strategic partnerships.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, clinics, medical professionals, distributors, and key decision-makers.
• Lead, manage, and motivate the business development team to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
• Oversee the preparation of business proposals, quotations, product presentations, and commercial negotiations.
• Lead high-level negotiations and secure strategic business deals, contracts, and partnerships.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and company objectives.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
• Monitor sales performance, evaluate business development activities, and prepare regular reports for management.
• Represent the company at medical conferences, exhibitions, networking events, and other industry-related activities.
• Develop and maintain long-term business relationships to strengthen customer retention and support sustainable business growth.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Biomedical Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in medical device sales, business development, or the healthcare industry.
• At least 2 years of experience in a managerial or team leadership role.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets, developing business strategies, and securing key accounts.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and strategic planning skills.
• Ability to analyse market opportunities, manage business relationships, and drive team performance.
• Familiarity with the medical device industry and relevant regulatory requirements is an advantage.
• Must possess own transport and be willing to travel as required.
