Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 10 years’ relevant construction supervision experience
• Proven experience as a Resident Engineer in infrastructure/water projects
• Familiar with Malaysian standards, authority requirements & contract conditions
• Strong leadership, negotiation & problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication & report-writing skills
• Willing to work full-time on site in Penang
• Registered Professional Engineer (Ir.) with BEM

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate project progress to meet timelines
• Review Method Statements, Material Approvals & contractor submissions
• Monitor site quality, QA/QC and construction works
• Lead progress & technical meetings
• Coordinate with clients, authorities, contractors & stakeholders
• Supervise pipeline installation, jointing, testing & backfilling
• Inspect temporary works including cofferdams, shoring, dewatering, TMP & ESCP
• Ensure compliance with site safety, trench safety, confined space & OSHA requirements
• Identify site issues and work with stakeholders to implement effective solutions
