About the role

Yick Fung Leatherware Factory Ltd is seeking a visionary Handbag Designer to join our creative team in Tsuen Wan. This full-time role is ideal for someone who blends strong design instincts with a modern, fashion-forward perspective. You'll shape the direction of our collections, build compelling trend narratives, and use AI-powered tools to elevate design, branding, and marketing impact. Key responsibilities

• Design contemporary, trend driven handbags and accessories from concept to prototype
• Build seasonal trend boards, mood concepts, and forecasts to guide collection direction
• Develop sketches, technical drawings, and detailed design specifications
• Source materials, trims, and hardware aligned with brand vision and emerging trends
• Collaborate closely with production teams to ensure design feasibility and quality
• Create branding assets and logo designs for internal and partner projects
• Use AI tools for ideation, visual exploration, and marketing content creation
• Capture high quality product photography for campaigns, e commerce, and social media
• Support marketing with visually compelling, brand aligned storytelling
• Stay ahead of cultural, fashion, and consumer trends to keep collections fresh and relevant

About you

• Degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related creative field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in handbag or accessory design (preferred)
• Familiarity with AI design tools is a strong advantage — candidates who can integrate AI into concept development, branding, or marketing will stand out
• Strong portfolio showcasing design vision, trend awareness, and technical skill
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and CAD
• Strong understanding of materials, construction, and production processes
• Excellent attention to detail, problem solving skills, and aesthetic judgment
• Strong photography skills with an eye for composition and styling
• Passion for fashion, culture, and emerging design directions
