Event Executive | Penang

Be the person behind the magic on show night.

We’re a hospitality and live-entertainment venue in Penang, and we’re looking for an Event Executive to run the show, literally. From late-night live performances and private celebrations to corporate events and brand activations, you’ll own events from first idea to final wrap-up.

What you’ll do

• Own the full event lifecycle. Plan and run live shows, private functions, corporate events, brand activations, and community programmes.
• Work with talent. Be the main contact for artists, performers, agents, clients, and vendors, covering contracts, technical riders, schedules, and hospitality.
• Bring teams together. Work with F&B, operations, marketing, and tech so every event runs smoothly.
• Run the show on the day. Manage load-in, sound checks, rehearsals, and show flow, and be the calm voice when something needs fixing fast.
• Shape the guest experience. Oversee venue setup, seating, signage, and every touchpoint your guests see.
• Plan and promote. Build timelines, run sheets, and production schedules, and work with marketing on promotion plans, content, and collateral.
• Measure success. Track budgets, P&L, and ticketing data, and report on attendance, revenue, and audience feedback so each event beats the last.

What we’re looking for

• 2-4 years in event management, live entertainment, or hospitality
• A track record of delivering live events end-to-end
• Comfort working evenings and weekends, because that’s when the magic happens
• Good with Google Workspace / Microsoft Office
• A cool head under pressure and strong problem-solving instincts

Bonus points if you have:

• Knowledge of Malaysia’s entertainment and events scene
• Familiarity with talent/technical riders and production requirements
• Mandarin skills for working with Mandarin-speaking clients
