Job Scope :
To assist the Centre Manager in the overall daily operations of the Active Ageing Centre.

Job functions:

• To coordinate support services and organize inter-generational activities for the seniors in the identified blocks within the service cluster
• Ensure that the programs and activities meet the performance indicators and operating guidelines issued by AIC and preparation of reports
• To mentor and motivate a team of AAC staff and volunteers
• Befriending and Buddying of identified seniors
• To conduct regular outreach to the seniors in the identified blocks
• Establish and motivate seniors to run mutual help groups
• Preparation and submission of internal and external reports
• Supervision and manning of the Alert Alarm System
• To maintain and update Information and Referral Service record and follow-up actions
• Assisting seniors with letter reading, handphone issues
• Up-keeping of facilities and equipment provided in the centre

Qualification & Experience :
“A” Level / Diploma in Community & Social Service

At least one to two years of related working experience

At least one to two years of Volunteering experience

Special Aptitude & Knowledge :
People-oriented and passionate towards working with seniors and for seniors. Knowledge of the role and function of Active Aging Centre would be an added advantage.
