Title: AI Lead, APAC

Role Summary:

Artificial Intelligence is rapidly reshaping financial markets, transforming how front-office teams access information, engage clients, and make decisions. As the first dedicated AI Lead in APAC, you will define how AI is embedded across our broking teams, delivering solutions that drive measurable business impact.

This role sits at the intersection of financial markets, technology, and business transformation. You will partner closely with front-office stakeholders to identify opportunities across trading workflows, market intelligence, client engagement, and productivity, while collaborating with AI and transformation leaders across the UK and US to align regional initiatives with the firm's global AI strategy and governance framework.

More than a technical role, this is an opportunity to shape the future operating model of the business by bringing practical AI solutions into the day-to-day activities of revenue-generating teams across APAC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with front-office brokers across APAC to understand how teams operate, where inefficiencies exist, and where AI can create meaningful business impact.
• Identify, and deliver AI-powered solutions that improve productivity, automate manual processes, and enhance decision-making across front-office teams.
• Design, build, and scale AI-enabled applications and AI-assisted coding tools that address complex business challenges and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Leverage data from internal platforms, trading systems, Order Management Systems (OMS), market data providers, and other business applications to develop scalable solutions.
• Drive adoption through stakeholder engagement, user training, and ongoing support to ensure solutions are successfully implemented and utilized.
• Collaborate closely with the Global AI Transformation team to align regional initiatives with enterprise AI standards, governance requirements, and strategic priorities.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to further enhance front-office effectiveness and client engagement.
• Measure and communicate business outcomes, including productivity gains, workflow improvements, and user adoption across the region.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience delivering technology, AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives within financial services or capital markets environments.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, trading workflows, and financial products, including equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, commodities, and other asset classes.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI-powered solutions using Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, automation platforms, and AI-assisted coding tools, with a track record of delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Experience working with Bloomberg, market data platforms, Order Management Systems (OMS), trading systems, and other front-office technologies and data sources.
• Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders, understand business challenges, and translate them into practical, scalable technology solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across front-office, technology, and leadership teams.
• Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI practices, data security, and regulatory considerations within a financial services environment.
