Job Description:

We are seeking a Secondary English & Mathematics Teacher to join our Academic Department. The ideal candidate should have experience teaching English and Mathematics to secondary-level students.

Job Responsibilities:

• Teach both English and Mathematics to secondary-level students.
• Experience teaching both local and international students is preferred.
• Conduct interactive and engaging lessons that align with curriculum objectives.
• Develop clear lesson plans, assessments and teaching materials.
• Regularly evaluate and monitor students’ academic progress through assignments, assessments and observations.
• Participate in parent-teacher discussions and provide appropriate feedback regarding students' learning progress
• Maintain a disciplined, positive and productive classroom environment.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, performance and progress for reporting purposes.
• Plan and deliver lessons according to the assigned curriculum.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Previous experience working with Secondary-level students preferred.
• Experience teaching students from international backgrounds will be an advantage.
• Previous experience in a Singapore MOE school environment is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with effective classroom management abilities.
• Able to organise teaching responsibilities independently while working cooperatively with other academic staff.
• Good patience and classroom management skills.
