Job Responsibilities

• Process and record supplier invoices, including purchase order invoices and standard vouchers.
• Prepare and process scheduled and ad-hoc supplier payments, ensuring timely payment based on due dates.
• Update cash book records and generate payment advice through the bank's online portal.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain invoices and resolve payment-related matters.
• Work closely with Buyers, Stores and end users to resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Process withholding tax payments to the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN).
• Perform supplier statement and creditor reconciliations.
• Prepare cash requirement reports to support payment planning.
• Maintain fixed asset records, including new asset additions and asset transfers.
• Process self-billed e-Invoices through the MyInvois portal.
• Assist in month-end closing activities, including prepayments, accruals, deposits and accounts payable summaries.
• Ensure proper scanning, filing and documentation of supplier invoices and payment records.

Requirements

• Diploma in Finance, Accounting or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in Accounts Payable or a related accounting field.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet applications.
• Good clerical, administrative and organisational skills.
• Intermediate data analysis skills will be an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience with integrated ERP accounting systems will be an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
