About the role

As a Project Manager, you will be supporting the delivery and ongoing operation of digital systems for the organization. The position combines traditional ICT project management with vendor/contract management, procurement, budgeting, cybersecurity remediation, and technology lifecycle management.

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 to 4 days a week in a client or Cognizant office. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.

What you must have to be considered

• Proven experience independently managing ICT projects or digital products end-to-end, from planning and implementation through transition and operational support.
• Working knowledge ofAgile, Scrum and Waterfalldelivery approaches.
• Experience working end-to-end with product teams, engineering teams and service providers/vendors.

• Strong end-to-end ICT project managementAble to independently drive projects from planning through implementation and operational support, while managing schedules, risks, budgets, testing, releases and competing priorities.
• Strong vendor, contract and financial management . Comfortable managing vendors, maintenance contracts, procurement activities, invoices, budgets and service requests, including challenging vendor estimates and commercial assumptions when necessary.
• Excellent stakeholder management with a hands-on mindset. Able to work effectively across product, engineering, business and service-provider teams, communicate clearly, escalate issues concisely, and independently follow problems through to closure.
