A regional bank is seeking an experienced KYC professional to support its Private Banking business. This role focuses on client onboarding and due diligence, including Source of Wealth and Source of Funds reviews, screening and KYC documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Job Description

• Conduct KYC/CDD reviews for new Private Banking clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

• Review and analyse Source of Wealth (SOW) and Source of Funds (SOF) information and supporting documentation.

• Perform name screening, background checks and due diligence reviews, including assessment and documentation of findings.

• Review client information and existing documentation, identify changes or gaps, and obtain updated documents where required.

• Ensure KYC due diligence packages are complete, accurate and meet the required standards for internal review and approval.

• Maintain complete and accurate KYC records and client documentation within internal systems.

• Manage KYC cases throughout the onboarding workflow through to final approval and sign-off.

• Work closely with relevant internal stakeholders to facilitate timely completion of client onboarding.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline preferred.

• At least 2 years of experience in KYC/CDD and client onboarding within Private Banking.

• Good understanding of KYC/AML requirements and client due diligence processes.

• Experience reviewing Source of Wealth, Source of Funds, client documentation and screening results.

• Strong attention to detail with good analytical and organisational skills.

• Able to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
