Job Description
We are seeking a responsible and reliable Driver to support our marine engineering operations in Singapore. As the marine industry operates around the clock, the successful candidate must be flexible and available to perform ad-hoc duties according to operational requirements, including urgent deliveries and assignments outside normal working hours.
Key Responsibilities
Transport marine equipment, spare parts, tools, and materials to shipyards, ports, warehouses, vessels, and project sites.
Collect and deliver materials and supplies from suppliers and other designated locations.
Be available for assignments outside normal working hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, when required by operational needs.
Assist with loading, unloading, and securing equipment and materials during transportation.
Check delivery orders and ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintain the vehicle in a safe and roadworthy condition.
Maintain records of deliveries, vehicle mileage, and other relevant documents.
Comply with traffic regulations, workplace safety requirements, and shipyard access procedures.
Job Requirements
Possess a valid class 3 driving licence appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
Familiarity with Singapore roads, shipyards, and industrial areas is preferred.
Able to respond to urgent operational requirements and work flexible hours.
Responsible, punctual, adaptable, and safety-conscious.
Physically fit to assist with handling equipment and materials when required.
Previous experience in the marine, engineering, or logistics industry is an advantage.
