About the Roles

Join a construction company as a Design Engineer based in Jurong West. This permanent position offers a 5-day workweek (Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 6.00pm) with a basic salary of up to $3,500 + Variable Bonus. The role involves product design, CNC programming, production planning, and coordinating manufacturing operations to ensure quality and timely delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop product designs, create production drawings, and perform CNC programming.
• Plan and manage daily production activities and departmental administrative tasks.
• Coordinate machine and assembly production lines to maintain productivity, quality, and delivery schedules.
• Schedule production orders for doors, locks, and other products according to project timelines.
• Allocate and optimize materials, tools, equipment, and manpower within approved budgets.
• Implement quality assurance procedures and monitor quality control throughout production.
• Evaluate and enhance process flows, operational procedures, production layouts, and material handling systems.
• Collaborate with QC/QA engineers to maintain production quality standards.
• Support other business activities as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma, Professional Degree, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Background in civil, construction, structural, or related engineering work is preferred.
• Proficiency in 3D modelling and drafting, including AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Experience in sheet metal work is required.
