Role Description The SAP B1 Functional Consultant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Petaling Jaya. The consultant will work closely with clients to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and design SAP Business One solutions that align with operational and financial goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring SAP B1 modules, preparing functional specifications, performing testing, and supporting data migration activities. The role also involves providing end-user training, troubleshooting system issues, and coordinating with technical teams to ensure successful implementation and post-go-live support. The consultant is expected to document solutions clearly, manage project tasks and timelines, and maintain strong communication with stakeholders throughout each engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
• Solid understanding of business processes across areas such as sales, purchasing, inventory, and production, with experience mapping these processes into ERP systems.
• Consulting skills, including requirements gathering, solution design, user training, and providing ongoing functional support.
• Finance-related knowledge, such as general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting within an ERP environment.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Business One implementations or support is highly preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Petaling Jaya and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to learn and support other ERP solutions, including Infor.
• Curious about new technologies and willing to continuously develop new skills.
• Interested in learning and using AI tools to improve productivity, problem-solving, documentation and day-to-day consulting work.
