Job Description

Dymon Asia Capital is a leading multi-strategy investment platform. As we continue to expand our investment platform, launch new teams, build new capabilities, and invest in technology and AI, we are looking for an exceptional individual to join the COO Office.

The successful candidate will report to a senior member of the COO Office, driving execution across a broad range of initiatives. The role is designed for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys solving ambiguous problems, and has a proven ability to coordinate complex workstreams across multiple stakeholders.

Success will depend on an individual's ability to create structure, maintain momentum, and ensure that strategic initiatives are executed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Projects & Execution

  • Drive execution of high-priority initiatives across the firm, ensuring key deliverables remain on track.
  • Coordinate stakeholders, manage follow-ups, and maintain accountability across multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Establish operating rhythms, reporting mechanisms, and governance frameworks that improve execution quality.
  • Anticipate risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Support senior leadership in prioritization, planning, and execution of strategic objectives.

Talent, Hiring & Organizational Development

  • Coordinate recruitment efforts across investment and non-investment functions.
  • Design and coordinate structured onboarding plans, including role definition, stakeholder engagement, and pre-joining preparation to accelerate integration into the platform.
  • Partner with business leaders to support workforce planning, organizational development, and growth initiatives.

AI, Data & Operational Improvement

  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve productivity through AI, automation, and workflow enhancement.
  • Partner with technology and data teams to evaluate, deploy, and drive adoption of new tools, capabilities, and operating processes.
  • Develop scalable frameworks and dashboards that provide greater visibility into strategic initiatives and business priorities.

Firm Building & Strategic Initiatives

  • Help manage and expand campus engagement, internship programs, and early talent development initiatives.
  • Partner with senior leadership on offsites, strategic content, presentations, and firm-building activities.
  • Contribute to internal communications, knowledge sharing, and organizational engagement efforts.
  • Assist with special projects that support the growth and evolution of the platform.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in business management, COO Office, chief of staff, strategic projects, management consulting, operations, product management, or a related role within hedge funds, asset management, investment banking, technology, or other high-performance environments.
  • Experience supporting complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across investment, technology, operations, risk, compliance, and corporate functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with sound commercial judgment and a bias toward action.
  • Interest in technology, AI, automation, and operational efficiency.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving environment.
  • Humble, collaborative, and motivated by helping others succeed.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
