Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Construction Building
• Position Title: Project Manager
• Working Location: Islandwide
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon – Fri: 8am – 6pm, Sat: 8am – 1pm)
• Salary Package: Basic + AWS + VB
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Quantity Surveyor, Site Engineers, and Supervisors on project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and timely project completion.
• Ensure projects are completed within the approved budget, scope, quality standards, and schedule.
• Manage the overall implementation and completion of projects within the required time, cost, and quality standards.
• Lead and coordinate with relevant stakeholders on project requirements, planning, and daily site operations.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with external vendors and suppliers.
• Obtain the required permits and licenses from relevant authorities and ensure site compliance with applicable regulations, including MOM, NEA, and HDB requirements.
• Plan and manage manpower, equipment, and materials throughout the project while keeping within budget.
• Plan construction activities and project schedules to ensure key deadlines are met.
• Arrange equipment and materials and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or delays.
• Supervise the project team, provide guidance, and resolve site issues or conflicts when required.
• Monitor project progress and prepare timely reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and report any safety issues.
• Lead Site Coordinators, safety personnel, Supervisors, and site workers in daily project activities and progress.
• Manage Site Coordinators on required submissions and coordinate work progress matters with consultants and relevant authorities.
• Prepare site documentation, including method statements, project programmes, and other required submissions.

• Degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, Building, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in managing building construction projects.
• Experience in project planning, site coordination, budgeting, resource management, and project execution.
• Familiar with construction regulations, authority requirements, and site safety procedures.
• Able to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, suppliers, authorities, and project teams.
• Able to prepare method statements, project schedules, progress reports, and related site documentation.
• Good leadership, planning, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
