Job Summary

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to execute and manage electrical projects in Singapore, including drawing preparation, site coordination, installation supervision, testing and commissioning, and project handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute electrical projects from commencement to completion.

• Prepare and update AutoCAD drawings, including single-line diagrams, electrical layouts, shop drawings and as-built drawings.

• Review drawings and specifications to ensure installations meet project requirements and applicable Singapore standards.

• Prepare electrical load calculations, cable sizing, equipment selections and material submissions.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and Licensed Electrical Workers (LEWs).

• Supervise site installations and monitor work quality, progress and safety.

• Prepare material quantities and coordinate procurement and deliveries.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and installation issues.

• Carry out or coordinate electrical inspections, testing and commissioning.

• Prepare progress reports, method statements, test records and handover documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

• At least 2 years of relevant electrical engineering or electrical installation work experience.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, with the ability to prepare and amend electrical drawings independently.

• Knowledge of electrical distribution, lighting, small power, cable containment and earthing systems.

• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.

• Familiarity with Singapore electrical installation practices and standards.

• Electrical testing and commissioning experience is an advantage, particularly insulation resistance, continuity, earthing and protection device testing.

• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work independently, meet project deadlines and attend project sites.

• Experience delivering electrical projects in Singapore is an advantage.
