Job Summary

Support design and site operations by preparing detailed drawings, coordinating services, ensuring compliance of subcontractor submissions, and liaising with site engineers and consultants to resolve technical issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings and sketch designs for Client and Consultant approval to ensure project specifications are met
• Coordinate services in drawings to integrate multiple construction disciplines seamlessly
• Review and verify subcontractor and specialist shop working drawings for strict compliance with project requirements
• Interpret structural and M&E drawings alongside architectural drawings and specifications to support design accuracy
• Liaise directly with Site Engineers and Consultants to clarify design and detail requirements for smooth site operations
• Assist in conducting joint site inspections with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Consultants to identify and resolve on-site discrepancies and detail issues
• Follow the Company’s Integrated Management System (IMS) procedures to maintain quality and compliance standards
• Establish and maintain systematic documentation and control of drawings for efficient retrieval and project tracking

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or standard certification in Civil Engineering, Architectural Technology, Drafting, or related built-environment discipline
• Minimum 2–5 years of drafting and technical coordination experience within the building construction sector
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM / Revit, and MS Office applications

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Sharp analytical skills to identify drawing discrepancies, finish defects, and technical clashes before construction
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively collaborate with site teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors
