About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and driven
Head Chef
to join us for an exciting new F&B concept in Singapore.
This is an opportunity to be part of the concept from an early stage and play a key role in shaping the kitchen, menu and overall food direction.
We’re looking for someone who is both
creative and hands-on
— someone who enjoys developing food, building systems, leading a team and being involved in the process from concept development through to day-to-day operations.
The Role
As Head Chef, you will take ownership of the kitchen and work closely with the management team to develop the food direction and build a strong kitchen operation from the ground up.
Your responsibilities will include:
Lead the development and execution of the food concept and menu.
Develop, test and refine dishes, recipes and seasonal offerings.
Establish recipes, portion sizes, plating standards and kitchen SOPs.
Set up kitchen systems, workflows and preparation processes ahead of opening.
Recruit, train and lead the kitchen team.
Manage day-to-day kitchen operations and service.
Maintain consistent standards for food quality, presentation and portioning.
Manage food ordering, inventory, storage and supplier relationships.
Monitor food costs, wastage and kitchen expenses.
Work on menu costing and pricing together with the management team.
Ensure food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards are consistently maintained.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and profitability.
Work closely with the wider team on the opening, launch and ongoing development of the concept.
Stay involved in the kitchen and lead by example during service.
