Role Description The Preschool Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. The teacher will plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and learning experiences that align with the preschool’s philosophy and curriculum standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing engaging activities, guiding children through play-based and inquiry-based learning, observing and documenting developmental progress, and maintaining a safe, nurturing classroom environment. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues on curriculum implementation, communicating regularly with families about children’s growth, and participating in school events and professional development. The teacher is expected to model positive behavior, support social-emotional development, and ensure each child feels included and valued.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Early Childhood Education and experience working in a preschool or Kindergarten setting.
• Ability to design and implement effective Lesson Planning aligned with child development principles.
• Experience in Curriculum Development, preferably with play-based, thematic, and inquiry-based learning approaches.
• Excellent Communication skills for engaging children, collaborating with colleagues, and partnering with families.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Knowledge of child safety, classroom management, and inclusive teaching practices.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting the holistic development of young children.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
