At MISC Berhad, we are looking for an experienced ICT professional to join our Global Infrastructure & Operations team as Manager, Computing Services. In this role, you will lead the planning, implementation, and operation of Computing Services initiatives that support MISC Group’s business growth and operational needs.

What You’ll Do

As the Manager, Computing Services, you will:

• Plan and manage Computing Services strategies and initiatives in alignment with MISC Group’s business priorities.
• Lead procurement strategies, tender and contract evaluations, solution design, development, and implementation for Computing Services initiatives.
• Manage maintenance and support services to ensure cost efficiency, high system availability, and infrastructure integrity.
• Manage the ICT Disaster Recovery Plan for Computing Services to support business continuity and the timely recovery of critical business functions.
• Develop and review infrastructure guidelines, standards, best practices, and lessons learned to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure Computing Services are delivered effectively across MISC Group’s local and international operations in line with Service Level Agreement requirements.
• Manage the integration of technologies across different global locations to support a secure and reliable ICT environment.
• Coordinate and manage vendors across various locations while maintaining cost efficiency and service quality.
• Develop, motivate, and coach team members to strengthen the capabilities of the Computing Services team.
• Collaborate with Business Units, Service Units, subsidiaries, PETRONAS ICT, consultants, vendors, and contractors.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information and Communication Technology or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 10–12 years of experience in the IT industry, with relevant experience managing Computing Services.
• Minimum 3–5 years of specific experience managing ICT computing development and implementation projects involving servers, storage, systems, or database management.
• Strong knowledge of ICT infrastructure planning and design.
• Experience in ICT asset management, incident management, and problem management.
• Good project management, monitoring, and reporting capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple vendors, stakeholders, and service requirements across different locations.
• Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to coach and develop team members.
