Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Tester with 3–4 years of experience in software testing and test automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Java, and Cypress to develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and ensure software quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
• Perform web application automation testing using Cypress.
• Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and regression test suites.
• Conduct functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Identify, document, track, and report software defects.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to resolve issues.
• Participate in test planning, test execution, and defect review meetings.
• Maintain automation frameworks and improve test coverage.
• Analyse test results and prepare test execution reports.
• Support continuous integration and continuous testing processes.

Required Skills

• 3–4 years of experience in software quality assurance and automation testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Good programming knowledge in Java.
• Experience with Cypress automation testing.
• Knowledge of TestNG or JUnit.
• Understanding of manual testing concepts and the software testing life cycle (STLC).
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
• Understanding of Page Object Model (POM) and automation framework design.
• Experience with cross-browser testing.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Note: Selenium with Java and Cypress are the primary technical requirements. Candidates should ideally have hands-on experience with both automation tools.
