Responsibilities

1.      Own assigned development tickets and deliver them by creating or updating technical components in collaboration with engineers to merge, test, and deploy code.

2.      Amend and refactor existing application components while maintaining backward compatibility and enabling future upgrades as connected systems evolve.

3.      Build high-quality applications and services using clean, modular code.

4.       Develop functional and unit tests to improve robustness, resilience, and reliability.

5.      Continuously improve the reliability of web applications and services through code improvements, refactoring, and defect resolution.

6.      Evaluate and adopt appropriate technologies to improve processes, development efficiency, and the codebase.

Requirements
1.      Experience with integrated development environments (IDEs),preferably in Unix/Linux environments.

2.      Experience developing applications and microservices using Go or Java.

3.      Software engineering experience, including data structures, algorithms, and software design.

4.      Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) using Jenkins.

5.      Knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.

6.      Experience with Docker,Kubernetes, Terraform, and messaging platforms such as Kafka is advantageous.

7.      Front-end development experience in areas such as forms, dashboards, reporting, and charting is advantageous.
