Role Description The Civil Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and supervising civil engineering works for building and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards, safety regulations, and client requirements. Daily tasks include preparing and reviewing engineering drawings and reports, coordinating with project managers, architects, and contractors, and performing site inspections to monitor progress and quality. The role also involves managing stormwater and drainage systems, supporting design-and-build project delivery, resolving technical issues, and contributing to continuous improvement of engineering processes and methodologies.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to apply engineering principles to building and infrastructure projects.
• Experience working as Civil Engineers on multidisciplinary projects, including coordination with design-and-build teams.
• Proficiency in Planning for project schedules, resource allocation, and construction sequencing.
• Knowledge of Stormwater Management, drainage design, and related infrastructure systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; professional registration or eligibility is an advantage.
• Familiarity with relevant local codes, standards, and regulatory requirements in Malaysia.
• Competence in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, civil design tools) and MS Office for documentation and reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and safety.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work on-site, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to project demands and timelines.
