We are seeking a analytical and meticulous Accounting Intern to join the Niche Finance Department. In this role, you will gain hands-on exposure to accounting and finance operations while supporting the team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Job Scope

• Assist in the preparation, processing and filing of accounting and financial documents
• Support accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, including data entry and record maintenance
• Assist in verifying supplier invoices, employee expense claims and payment-related documents
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and supporting documentation
• Assist in bank reconciliations and the preparation of accounting schedules
• Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting processes
• Assist with audit preparations, including compiling supporting documents and schedules
• Perform data entry and ensure the accuracy of financial information in the accounting system
• Provide administrative support to the Niche Finance team as required
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments and projects as assigned

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Only Final-Year Accounting students will be considered
• Strong interest in accounting, finance and auditing
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Good analytical, organisational and attention-to-detail skills
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong proficiency in both spoken and written English

Location

Persiaran Raja Chulan, Kuala Lumpur (a shuttle service is provided between the Masjid Jamek LRT Station and the office)

Pay: RM1,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Kuala Lumpur: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
