We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Assistants to support the operations of our sports counter at Causeway Point (Metro Department Store). Whether you are seeking a full-time or part-time opportunity, we are looking for individuals who can commit consistently throughout the contract period and contribute to delivering an excellent customer experience.

Important Notes

• This is a temporary contract role commencing on 7 October 2026.
• The contract is expected to run for 3 months.
• We are seeking candidates who can commit for the entire duration of the contract.
• Applications from candidates who are only available for a few weeks or selected dates may not be considered.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with product enquiries and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions accurately.
• Replenish merchandise and maintain store presentation standards.
• Assist with stock receiving, inventory checks, and housekeeping.
• Support promotional activities and sales initiatives.
• Perform other retail operational duties as required.

Full-Time Retail Assistant

• 44 hours per week.
• 5 days per week, based on roster.
• Must be able to work weekends and public holidays when scheduled.

Part-Time Retail Assistant

• Up to 34 hours per week.
• Minimum commitment of 4 days per week, including weekends.
• Must be able to commit consistently throughout the contract period.

Requirements

• Minimum 16 years old.
• Customer service or retail experience is an advantage but not required.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Reliable and able to commit for the full contract period.
• As this is a temporary role, work pass sponsorship is not possible.
