Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.

Previous experience in hotel, restaurant or banquet kitchen stewarding is an advantage.

Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene, sanitation and cleaning procedures.

Able to operate dishwashing machines and handle kitchen cleaning equipment.

Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties in a fast-paced environment.

Responsible, hardworking, disciplined and able to work independently or in a team.

Willing to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Malaysian citizens only.

Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of kitchen areas, equipment and utensils.

Wash, clean and organise plates, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans and cooking equipment.

Operate dishwashing machines and ensure proper cleaning procedures.

Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, sinks, drains, grease traps and waste disposal areas.

Assist in cleaning and organising kitchen storage areas, chillers and freezers.

Ensure proper waste segregation, garbage disposal and cleanliness of rubbish bins.

Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely according to hygiene and safety standards.

Support kitchen and banquet operations by ensuring sufficient clean utensils and equipment are available.

Assist with kitchen deep cleaning and scheduled preventive cleaning activities.

Report damaged equipment, maintenance issues and hygiene concerns to the supervisor.

Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards in accordance with hotel procedures and KKM requirements.

Perform other stewarding and kitchen support duties assigned by the Head Chef or supervisor.
