Responsibilities

Software Development & System Integration

• Develop and maintain APIs and system integrations: Build, test, and maintain APIs, backend services, and integration components that connect internal systems, AI platforms, and third-party applications.
• Support AI platform development: Assist in implementing and enhancing enterprise AI platform capabilities, including AI agents, automation workflows, and supporting services.
• Implement technical solutions: Work with solution architects and senior engineers to translate technical designs and business requirements into working software components.
• Integrate AI and automation services: Support the integration of AI models, LLM services, AI agents, and automation tools with existing enterprise applications.
• Troubleshoot technical issues: Investigate and resolve application errors, API integration issues, and system connectivity problems.

MVP & Prototype Development

• Develop MVPs and proof-of-concepts (POCs): Participate in the design, development, and testing of prototypes and pilot solutions within the Agile Lab.
• Support AI agent development: Assist in building, configuring, and testing AI agents using enterprise AI development platforms and frameworks.
• Perform system testing and debugging: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting to ensure solutions meet functional and technical requirements.
• Support deployment activities: Assist with application deployment, configuration, and testing across development, testing, and production environments.
• Participate in Agile delivery: Work closely with team members to complete assigned development tasks within agreed sprint timelines.

Security, Governance & Technical Standards

• Follow enterprise development and security standards: Apply secure coding practices, API security principles, access controls, and established development guidelines.
• Support implementation of technical controls: Assist in configuring and implementing security, audit logging, authentication, and access management requirements.
• Maintain code quality: Participate in code reviews, source control management, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes.

Technical Documentation & Production Support

• Prepare technical documentation: Maintain API documentation, integration guides, configuration details, and deployment instructions.
• Support production readiness: Assist with application testing, deployment preparation, and technical handover from MVP to production.
• Monitor and resolve technical issues: Support application monitoring, defect resolution, and ongoing improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders: Work with senior engineers, solution architects, infrastructure teams, security teams, and external vendors to deliver technical solutions.

Qualifications

Experience

• 1 to 3 years of experience in software development, backend engineering, system integration, or related technical roles.
• Experience developing applications or backend services using programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and common system integration techniques.
• Basic experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud would be an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with strong technical skills, relevant projects, or internship experience may also be considered.

Technical Skills

• Software Development: Understanding of programming fundamentals, object-oriented programming, debugging, and software development practices.
• API & Integration: Basic knowledge of RESTful API development, API authentication, and application integration.
• Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with cloud services, application hosting, and serverless computing concepts.
• AI & Automation: Basic understanding of generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, and automation technologies.
• Databases: Ability to write basic SQL queries and work with relational databases.
• DevOps Tools: Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and development tools.
• Security Awareness: Basic understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.

Additional Advantages (Not Mandatory)

• Exposure to Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure API Management, or Azure AI Foundry.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot Studio, AI agent development frameworks, or LLM APIs.
• Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), function calling, or Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Experience with Docker, containerization, or cloud deployment.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Willingness to learn new technologies, particularly AI, cloud computing, and enterprise integration.
• Ability to work collaboratively with developers, architects, and cross-functional teams.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Equivalent practical experience and demonstrated technical capabilities may also be considered.
