Minimum Diploma or Degree in Safety & Health, Environment, Engineering or equivalent

At least 3–5 years of working experience in Safety & Health for railway projects

Possess the DOSH Green Book, and be familiar with OSHA and other statutory requirements

Own transportation, and willing to travel to Penang Island

Location: Penang (project site on Penang Island)

Make sure all site activities comply with relevant safety regulations and company policies

Monitor and enforce occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations

Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards and make sure the site complies

Review near misses, incidents and accidents to find the root cause and put corrective actions in place

Provide safety training and briefings to employees and subcontractors

Investigate accidents and incidents, and prepare reports

Keep site records and documentation as required by the company and by law

Undertake special assignments, ad-hoc functions and related duties as required

Make sure daily site operations follow safety, health and environmental, legal and corporate requirements

Perform any other duties assigned by superiors and/or management
