·    Review and approve electrical designs, schematics, wiring diagrams, system layouts, load calculations, short-circuit studies, capacity planning, technical specifications, and other engineering deliverables.

·    Lead technical evaluation and selection of electrical equipment, including switchgear, transformers, distribution panels, backup power systems, SMS, and DUPS.

·    Lead design, constructability, operability, and technical reviews; resolve electrical design issues and coordinate interfaces with mechanical, structural, and other building and facility systems.

·    Evaluate technologies and improvement opportunities that enhance electrical reliability, energy efficiency, sustainability, automation, and lifecycle value.

Construction & Project Execution

·    Lead construction and installation of electrical systems in accordance with approved design, safety, quality, cost, and schedule requirements.

·    Manage contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers, including progress, productivity, procurement, equipment delivery, interfaces, field changes, deficiencies, and recovery actions.

·    Review and approve electrical submittals, shop drawings, contractor work plans, and installation requirements.

·    Develop construction priorities, key milestones, resource plans, shutdown and energization requirements, and mitigation plans to protect critical project and manufacturing milestones.

·    Conduct regular site reviews to verify installation quality, workmanship, construction progress, and compliance with approved requirements.

·    Manage discipline scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, change control, KPIs, and project deliverables; provide clear updates and recommendations to project leadership.

Testing, Commissioning & Handover

·    Lead testing, commissioning, energization, startup, functional verification, and operational handover of electrical systems.

·    Establish commissioning strategy, acceptance criteria, system turnover sequence, and testing requirements for power distribution, lighting, emergency power, backup power, and associated control systems.

·    Coordinate contractors and subcontractors in functional testing, troubleshooting, adjustments, and resolution of commissioning issues to confirm systems meet design and operational requirements.

·    Coordinate with Facilities Operations, Maintenance, EHS, manufacturing/end users, contractors, and suppliers to ensure operational readiness and safe transition to operations.

·    Ensure complete turnover documentation, including as-built drawings, test reports, operating manuals, equipment records, training documentation, and other required handover information.

·    Provide technical leadership during ramp-up and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for significant electrical system performance or reliability issues.

Safety, Quality & Compliance

·    Provide electrical safety leadership and ensure installations, construction activities, testing, commissioning, and energization comply with applicable project safety requirements, electrical codes, and standards.

·    Ensure appropriate controls are implemented for electrical installation, energization, live-system interfaces, shutdowns, testing, and other high-risk activities.

·    Drive quality controls for electrical equipment, materials, installation, testing, documentation, and system acceptance.

·    Promote energy efficiency, sustainability, and electrical safety best practices within semiconductor manufacturing environments.

Stakeholder & Team Leadership

·    Act as the primary point of contact for the electrical construction scope, aligning project leadership, project owners, Facilities Operations, manufacturing/end users, EHS, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.

·    Lead cross-functional coordination and timely resolution of design, construction, commissioning, and operational interface issues.

·    Lead, coach, and develop engineers and project resources; allocate resources according to project priorities and provide technical guidance on complex electrical issues.

·    Build effective contractor and supplier partnerships while maintaining clear expectations for safety, quality, schedule, performance, transparency, and accountability.

·    Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement in electrical designs, construction execution, testing, and commissioning for future projects.

Job Requirements
