Job Summary:

The BIM Modeler will play a critical role within Fonda Global Engineering by transforming concepts into highly accurate 3D digital construction models across Architectural, Structural, and MEP disciplines. Using Revit and AutoCAD, your primary focus will be checking models to find and fix clashes between building systems.

You will work directly with the site team to coordinate work plans, update models based on new consultants’ drawings, and generate accurate 2D drawings from the model.

You will also assist in maintaining our established BIM workflows, ensuring that all design and construction documentation strictly follows project specifications and local authority regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

3D Modeling & Coordination

• Develop and maintain highly accurate 3D architectural and structural models using Autodesk Revit.
• Model building elements to the level of detail of 400 and 500 (as-built) including walls, floors, roofs, foundations, columns, beams, and reinforcing steel.
• Update 3D models based on markups, design changes, and coordination provided by the consultants or the structural and architectural coordinators.

Drawing Production & Deliverables

• Generate and manage precise 2D documentation—such as plans, sections, elevations, and details—directly from the BIM model.
• Produce comprehensive construction sets, including schedules, legends, and material take-offs to support project estimation and procurement.
• Maintain and adhere to project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and established CAD/BIM standards for all deliverables.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure drawing consistency across all disciplines and compliance with project milestones.

Collaboration & Data Management

• Work collaboratively with structural engineers and architectural coordinators to solve design and constructability issues.
• Manage model files and project documents
• Assist the BIM Coordinator in cleaning up models and performing regular model Audit checks to ensure model health and optimize file performance

Requirements:

• A recognised Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering,
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience specifically acting as a BIM Modeller on electrical / security systems projects.
• Software Proficiency:
• Expertise in Autodesk Revit (Architecture and Structure).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with Navisworks Manage (will be advantageous)
• Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours

• 5 Days Work Week

Pay: $3,000.00 - $4,500.00 per month
