Hiring: Data Platform Engineer

Location: Singapore (Onsite)

Experience: 3–5+ Years

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Salary: Up to SGD 7,000 per month

Eligibility: Singapore Citizens / Permanent Residents (SC/SPR) Preffered

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Data Platform Engineer to join our client’s Data Engineering team in Singapore. The role involves building, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise data platforms and production-grade data pipelines across AWS and hybrid cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python, SQL, and PySpark.
• Build and support cloud-based data platforms and data lake solutions.
• Work with AWS services, including S3, Glue, EMR, and Redshift.
• Manage Linux/Unix environments, scripting, and production support.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automation, platform monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Improve platform reliability, security, performance, and operational efficiency.

Mandatory Skills

• Data Engineering: Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and production data pipelines.
• Cloud Technologies: Practical experience with AWS and/or hybrid cloud environments.
• Linux/Unix: Strong administration, scripting, troubleshooting, and production support experience.

Good to Have

• PySpark, Apache Spark, AWS Glue, EMR, and Redshift.
• Data Lake/Lakehouse architectures.
• OpenSearch, AWS Bedrock, and CI/CD automation.
• Monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Grafana, or Prometheus.

Candidate Requirements

• 3–5+ years of relevant hands-on experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support capabilities.
• Must be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Must be available to work onsite in Singapore.
