1. Supply Chain and Procurement Strategy Development:

• Formulate and execute the company’s long-term global or regional procurement strategies.

• Optimize procurement processes to enhance overall supply chain efficiency, while reducing operational costs and financial risks.

2. Supplier Management and High-Level Negotiations:

• Establish, maintain, and evaluate relationships and strategic alliances with key global suppliers.

• Lead high-stakes commercial negotiations—such as those for major procurement projects, bulk commodities, or core assets—to secure the most favorable business terms.

3. Cost Control and Budget Management:

• Oversee and control the company’s annual procurement budget, driving cost savings and operational efficiency through initiatives like centralized procurement and category management.

4. Compliance, Risk Management, and ESG:

• Ensure all procurement activities adhere to the laws and regulations of Singapore and other jurisdictions where the company operates (e.g., anti-corruption and anti-trust laws).

• Increasingly, procurement directors in Singapore are tasked with advancing green procurement and sustainable supply chain (ESG) strategies, including auditing suppliers for compliance with environmental and social responsibility standards.

5. Team Leadership and Talent Development:

• Manage and mentor a team comprising procurement managers, supervisors, and operational staff.

• Enhance the team’s proficiency in digital procurement tools (such as SAP or SRM systems) and data analytics.

Pay: $12,000.00 - $17,000.00 per month
